to convert most traditional business methods into electronic methods. The web is reshaping business practice in several ways, Companies are publishing
content on their web sites for widespread distribution so that customers and suppliers can
have easy access to information and completing transactions. There is a belief that it
pays off, in general, as this technology helps them to extend market share, increase sales,
and cut operational costs The advent of the web represents a turning point in the history of electronic
commerce, paving the way for Internet commerce in the 1990’s. Internet commerce has
become a cheaper way of doing business and enables more diverse
business activities This was the time when
several retail websites had been planned and launched for sale/purchase of goods and
services over internet.
