Is there a situation where the consumer surplus is equal to zero?
Consumer surplus for a product is zero when the demand for the product is perfectly elastic. This is because consumers are willing to match the price of the product.
when the product is not appeal to the consumer or the utility from that is equal to zero..
so he would not be willing to pay any thing so the consumer surplus is equal to zero
what he is willing to pay ia equal the actual price or value
من الحالات التي يكون فيها فائض المستهلك يساوي صفر عندما يكون المستهلك غير قادر على شراء اي نوع من السلع او الخدمات حيث ان فائض المستهلك هو مايكون المستهلك على استعداد لدفعه وما يدفعه فعلا في الواقع .
